Swimming

Nathan loves to swim! . He has been doing so well in his swim class and now wants to just dive to the bottom of the pool for hours on end. The other night he told his daddy that he needed to swim like coach Alicia ( his swim coach that he LOVES) He then gave Kyle some lessons on swimming with " Big Arms" . He would sit on the stair and "coach" Kyle as he swam by . After a few laps I guess he was pleased with Kyles efforts. He said " Great Job Daddy" and we headed inside for bed.
I guess its like getting 2 for 1 swim lessons! ha ha ha ah.

Nate Night

Tonight was Nate Night. It is my version of Date night but with Nathan and not Kyle. Nathan asked me earlier in the day if we could go and sit down to eat and not pick it up. I guess that should be a sign we get to go way to much. With the lack of sleep lately cooking is not on the top of my list. After today I am going to at least shoot for 4 nights a week , we will see what happens. :)

So we started out our Nate Night by dropping Nolan off at Mimi's house. He is much to young to appreciate the fun of Nate Night. I have to start thinking of a name for Nolan and Nathan night????????
Next we headed to the Japanese restaurant by our house. We had fun with all the fire and flying rice! After the yummy dinner we stopped next door at the Toll House store for cookies and Ice Cream. Nathan always knows exactly what to pick. As soon as we walked through the door he saw a picture of an ice cream sandwich and decided that is what he had to have. Who wouldn't? Its the best of both worlds.
After our super fun and yummy dinner we headed back to pick up Nolan. He didn't seem to notice we were gone since I know he was getting lots of kisses and attention from Mimi. :)
What a fun night.

Toddler PGA Tour watch out!

Nathan loves to play golf. We went out to Mimi and Papa's house today so he could hit the course with the big guys. Here is him at the driving range with the guys. I am pretty sure he is the best golfer ever. I wonder if it could be because I am his mom??............nahhhhhhh. :)

Bath time

Just recently Nolan is able to sit up well enough to sit in the bath seat. He loves Nathan and thinks it is so funny to be in the bath with him. Here are some pictures of last nights bath. Nathan being the big helper he is tries to "wash" Nolans hair. This is pretty much a cup full of water being poured over his head. Not so good to do to a baby. :( The first picture is of Nathan right after he was done rolling his eyes at me when I told him not to pour water on Nolan. I still can not believe he had the nerve or even knew how to roll his eyes............... sigh................. whats in store for me with this guy I dont even want to know. I thought girls had the attitude not the boys???????

Nolan update and 6 month check up

Poor NOlan has had a rough couple months. The poor guy came down with a cold that quickly turned into something more. He was put on breathing treatments and lots of medicine :( This last week we went for our weekly checkup and things are looking better!!!! He still has to do the breathing treatments but not so often and the other medicines are done with . I think his stomach problems have gotten better. Hopefully after we get the breathing good he will feel better and be the happy little guy I know he is!!!! It just so happened to be his 6 month check up too. He is weighing in at 16 pounds, 25th percentile for weight and the 50th percentile for height . He seems so little compared to our huge baby Nathan! Nathan was off the charts at this point. It is nice to have the last one be baby for a while.

Ice Cream

In honor of Summer I thought I would share with you my sons love of ice cream. As I was clearing out my phone pictures I came across what seemed to be a million pictures of Nathan eating Ice Cream. I had no idea we ate so much! ha haha .

My little ladies man

Nathan is at the age where you can tell him to say things and he will. It is pretty much our only entertainment around here. Well for some reason we have taught him how to wink and say "how you doing". I told him when he sees a pretty lady that is what he is supposed to do . It is pretty funny because he cant wink so he scrunches up the whole side of his face.
But now has been making these faces lately like he is totally working it. I guess we should stop with the pickup lines and move onto something else. I don't want him getting into trouble at school next year. I can just see it now, we will be called into the office because he keeps hitting on the ladies!!!!
