The Children's Festival

Yesterday was the start of the Woodlands Children's Festival . We made our way to the Pavilion and had a blast. They had all kinds of fun things for the kids to do . We started by making a kite! After some kite making and of course flying we found a seat for the Barney show ! They also had a place to make these super fun newspaper hats and face painting. Nathan of course got the Batman logo on his face. We walked through all kinds of stations they had set up with games and crafts! We left with a big bag full of loot! Some of the fun crafts they had were making your own paper, Thanksgiving headbands, and dot painting. Nathan also got to try out hula hooping for the first time. I wish I had a video camera because it was soooo funny watching him and how he shook his little hips :) His favorite part was a little pool they had set up that you could fish in. The fishing pole had a magnet as the hook and picked up all kinds of fun little toys. We had to stop by that booth twice :) They also had a teddy bear clinic set up where he got to do a check up and give the teddy his flu shot.
Nathan is such a serious little guy and likes to check everything out. He always has a straight face and just people watches. Throughout the day Kyle and I were always saying " Nathan are you having fun?" with his very quick and certain reply of "Jess" ( Nathan for yes) .
Nolan had a fun day which involved riding on his daddies shoulders and in his stroller. He is so laid back compared to what I thought he wold have turned out to be . He is always happy if he can see what Nathan and his Daddy are up to . :)
