Soccer Time

This Spring we signed Nathan up for his first organized sport, Soccer!!!
He was only old enough to play either soccer or flag football. The obvious choice was soccer.
We headed out and got him his own little cleats, shin guards and soccer shorts. We were ready! Our first Saturday was really fun and exciting. Nathan did a great job this season. It has to be hard for a 3 year old to pay attention and I know many times he would have much rather been spinning around in circles with his favorite team mate Jackson. By the end of the season the team had dwindled down to only 4 kids. The playoffs were very interesting with our small team.
The kids didn't seem to notice or care. They had a blast and I was so proud of Nathan. His last game he scored a GOAL!!!!!!! I am not sure who was more excited ( me).
Here are some pictures of Nathan's last game and his awards that he won.

Nolan didn't feel left out at all. I am pretty sure he thought he was part of the team . He would always run onto the field when it was half time and kick the ball around with Kyle! He thought it was so funny.
Every since then he is always kicking balls around the house. I think he might like to play when he is old enough too.

Memorial Day

This last weekend we had so much fun. It was Memorial Day and we headed to Mimi and Papa's house for a party at the golf course. They had Burgers, Hot Dogs, Snow Cones and a band.
Nathan and Daddy finally got to try out his new fishing pole ( Yes, it is the as seen on TV one in case you are wondering! ) .
He actually caught some little fish in the lake. !!!!! After lunch we headed over to the pool area where Nathan and Nolan swam for a bit. A usual Nolan needed to keep a move on and couldnt stay in the pool to long. He had daddy chasing him all over the place. They took a walk on the beach , found some beach balls , ate a snow cone, and returned to the pool.
When we got home and cleaned up everyone was exhausted . The boys both feel asleep by 7 and slept till 9 the next day!

Here are our pictures from the fun day.
